About Exum Utah Mountain Adventures

Exum Utah Mountain Adventures (EUMA) is a year round climbing and backcountry skiing guide service, with an instructional emphasis, based in the Wasatch Mountains Utah since 1994. EUMA operates under a special use permit issued by the Wasatch-Cache National Forest.

Affiliated with Exum Mountain Guides in Grand Teton National Park, EUMA is part of the tradition of the oldest, and perhaps best-known, guiding service in the United States. Our guides are highly experienced climbers and skiers who engage in ongoing training through EUMA, Exum Guides in the Tetons and elsewhere.

The Seasons

EUMA programs are offered according to season and mountain conditions. You can generally count on Backcountry Skiing from December thru mid-May, Ice Climbing from December thru February, Rock Climbing from mid-March thru early November and Mountaineering year round. Since conditions vary, please check with us about current conditions before making travel or other arrangements.
