Bruce
has worked as a guide for Exum Utah and White Pine
Touring for eight years, teaching avalanche education
and back-country travel in winter months as well
as teaching and guiding rock climbing in the summer
months. He has taught various avalanche education
courses for the Utah Avalanche Center, the Logan
Avalanche Forecast Center, the Oakley School, the
National Ski Patrol, and Utah State University. He
forecasted for the Logan Avalanche Forecast Center
in the northern Utah mountains for four years. Bruce
has also worked as a ski patroller and avalanche
technician for the Utah Department of Transportation,
Solitude ski area and Brighton ski area. He
is now celebrating his 25th year living and skiing
the central Wasatch range, compiling over 2000 days
of back-country travel and skiing.
