Ice climbing programs

Scaling frozen waterfalls with crampons and ice tools is a unique and challenging sport. Sharing many aspects of rock and alpine climbing. The skills taught in our courses open new possibilities for winter recreation and ascents of major peaks.

Wasatch water ice can be among the best in the nation. It's usually in from December-February. EUMA guides offer instruction for all skill levels. We have lots of ice climbing in the remote canyons surrounding Salt Lake City if you're interested in sampling some of the fantastic ice climbs while you are in town.
