Nate
spent the younger part of his life traveling around
the world. Living in areas such as London , Scotland
, and Malaysia , he was never in one place for longer
than four years. Even when his location was away from
the mountains, he always found a way to them. Climbing
and mountain travel have been Nate’s strongest passions.
His climbing and backcountry travel extends from the
cascades of the west coast to the Rockies of Colorado.
Nate also shares a strong passion for teaching. He
hopes to assist many in their enjoyment of the outdoors
through all aspects of backcountry and vertical travel.
Nate holds a Wilderness EMT, AMGA Top Rope Site Manager,
and Personal Trainer certification. He is also an
instructor for the American Red Cross for emergency
first aid and CPR courses. Nate currently lives in
Salt Lake City , Utah where he is a student at the
University of Utah . Nate also works as a mountain
guide and climbing instructor for Sierra Wilderness
Seminars out of Mt. Shasta , California , and the
University of Utah ’s Outdoor Recreation Program.
