Tipping
of guides is never expected, but always appreciated!
Rates
for scheduled courses
Rates
for scheduled courses vary from $120 to $395 per person
per day. Please go to the appropriate page for the particular
course you are interested in for exact rates. Children
14 & under can not attend courses with adults.
Deposits:
A deposit
is required to reserve a guide and to hold a spot on
a course, private tour or climb. Deposits are 50% of
the cost of the climb or course. A guide may be booked
for any day of the year without an advance reservation,
subject to availability.
Refunds or changes:
Deposits
will only be refunded if the guided outing is cancelled
by the guide due to unsafe conditions deemed by the guide.
If conditions are poor for the guided outing and the
guide is flexible and available, you may postpone to
a later date.
Participant agreement and release forms:
Before
participating in any class or guided program, you will
be required to read and sign an approved participant
agreement form or liability waiver form. For participants
under 18 years old, parents must sign. (Forms may be
faxed or sent in advance, and can be downloaded online
on our forms page.)
Equipment rental:
For
equipment lists for all different programs, click here.
For guided climbs; helmets, harnesses, avalanche beacons and shovels,if needed,
are provided free of cost.
For guided tours; avalanche beacons and shovels are provided free of cost,
if needed.
The guide will provide the group safety gear.
EUMA rents binding adapters, skins and a limited selection of alpine touring
skis and Voile split snowboards.
